I have understood over these last years that in order to believe in God, it is essential to have trust in humanity. There is no God without humanity. I continue not to believe, neither in God, nor in humanity.

About This Quote

The very people who would tell you to trust in humanity are often the same people who are the loudest to say that only God can help you. The world is full of people who would rather be right than help you out. When someone tells you to have faith in humanity, that person is actually telling you to have faith in yourself. It is up to you to decide what it is that you believe in.
